The Karoo is an ancient land of stark contrasts. Rugged mountain ranges provide a dramatic contrast to open plains, deep valleys and seasonal riverbeds. Winter often coats our valley in a blanket of snow while the hot summer sun bleaches the earth in burnt umber hues. Every day is different at Mount Camdeboo.
